IV Technology—Modernized

Fluid therapy is potentially one of the most important therapies used in treating animals that are ill. When pets are dehydrated, they are compromised in fighting disease and metabolizing life-saving drugs, are unlikely to eat regularly, and generally feel unwell and lethargic.

Using Mobile IV Systems’ (MIVS) patented veterinary IV system (VIVS), veterinarians and technicians are armed with one more tool to help care for their patients. Our line of infusers requires no electricity, is fully mobile, and is designed to administer fluids to small and large pets. Our infusers require less labor, administer fluids more quickly, put less stress on your patients, and allow your owners to spend less time in your waiting room.

Instructions for Use

Better for Pets; Better for your Practice

With traditional subcutaneous infusion, two technicians are needed: one to secure the animal and one to administer the IV. That process could take upwards of 10 minutes and relies on gravity, often leading to precarious positioning to ensure fluids are properly administered.

With VIVS, CO2 is used to pressurize the regulator and IV solution, meaning neither gravity nor manual pressure is needed. Now, only one person is required, and the entire process can take as little as 30 seconds. Pets, pet owners, and veterinary practices all benefit from the ease of this mobile IV technology.

The benefits to your practice are significant. Not only will your team be more efficient, but your customers will be happier. And you even have the option of adding additional services for your clients!

Applications for Mobile IV

Subcutaneous Infusions

Dehydration decreases circulation to the liver and kidneys, which are then unable compromised in performing vital bodily functions. Therefore, animals with kidney disease, liver failure, and diabetes may all benefit from fluid therapy.

For pets that need regular subcutaneous fluid therapy, you may even choose to train and empower your pet owners to do this procedure at home. This is now possible and much easier with the VIVS solution.

Wound Irrigation

Whether first cleaning a wound or keeping it clean during surgery, Veterinary IV Systems’ pressurized fluid products allow you to deliver a steady stream of sterile fluids on demand. Instead of investing in expensive equipment, our products are reliable, affordable, and very easy to use.
